
This was a fun project where I got to experiment with mixing digital in-game screenshots with traditional analog photographic techniques. Screenshots were taken in-game, and were then edited with additional effects like improved hair textures and depth of field to increase realism. I then used a fairly sensitive 800iso film to capture a duplicate of the image on analog filmstock (CineSTill 800T). The goal was to see how well this method could recreate a vintage film look that I wanted to achieve for the album art, and whether or not it was superior to a digital imitation. I process my film at home, and so when the roll was full of shots I was able to quickly develop, dry, and scan in the final images. Below are some additional shots that were used in the marketing campaign and the originals shots that were used.
